Microsoft Purview's compliance portal will soon allow users to restrict unintentional sharing of sensitive items to unallowed cloud apps and monitor sensitive activities in macOS environments. No action is required to prepare for this rollout, and access to the new settings will be available in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. The rollout will begin in mid-March 2024 for preview and late April 2024 worldwide. In Microsoft Purview's compliance portal, you’ll soon be able to restrict unintentional sharing of sensitive items to unallowed cloud apps and monitor sensitive activities in your macOS environment.

Preview: We will begin rolling out mid-March 2024 and expect to complete by late March 2024.
Worldwide: We will begin rolling out late April 2024 and expect to complete by late May 2024.
