Updated April 15, 2024: We have updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.

The Microsoft Teams admin center will support multi-instance app customization and management. This feature update allows IT admins to create multiple customized versions of the same customizable Teams app, catering to the diverse needs of different groups or departments within an organization. Admins can customize app icons, names, descriptions, and so on to meet specific requirements. This enhancement makes it easier to tailor Teams to the unique identities and needs of various organizational segments.

Worldwide: We will begin rolling out early mid-April 2024 (previously early April) and expect to complete by mid-May 2024 (previously early May 2024.May).
