The rollout timeline for Microsoft Viva Engage results in Workplace Search has been updated, with the rollout starting late September 2024 and ending mid-January. This feature, which displays question posts from public Communities, Storylines, and Answers in search results, will be available by default. No admin action is required for the update. As users search in office.com, sharepoint.com, or Microsoft Bing at Work, they will get results from Microsoft Viva Engage that they have access to. The results show up as interleaved results on the search page. This is currently limited to only question posts from public Communities, Storylines, and Answers. This new feature is available by default.

When this will happen:
General Availability: We will begin rolling out late September 2024 (previously late August) and expect to complete by mid-January (previously mid-December).
