Updated August 6, 2024: We have updated the timing of this change to show as originally intended. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Starting September 5,in late August 2024, the Compose feature in the Microsoft Edge for Business sidebar will be retired. As a result, users signed in with an Entra ID will no longer have access to the Compose tab on the Edge sidebar. We plan to continue to invest our development resources into bringing new writing capabilities to Edge in the future.

How this will affect your organization:
The Compose experience will be available in the Microsoft Edge for Business sidebar until September 5,late August 2024. After this date, users signed in with an Entra ID will no longer be able to use Compose in the Edge sidebar.
What you need to do to prepare:
There is no action required by you. However, you may want to inform your users about this upcoming change.
