Summary

Microsoft Loop will enable common admin management tasks for all workspaces, with a rollout starting in late December 2024 and completion by late March 2025. When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late December 2024 and expect to complete by late March 2025.

How this will affect your organization:

Admins can manage membership, ownership, deletion, and restoration of Loop workspaces in the SharePoint Embedded admin center or PowerShell.

Changes to membership, ownership, and container deletions, and restorations made to Loop workspaces created after December 2024 will be visible in the Loop experience beginning in December 2024.

Changes to membership, ownership, and container deletions, and restorations made to Loop workspaces created before December 2024 will be visible in the Loop experience by March 2025.
