We will soon add a new graph to Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI that displays the departments of users interacting with AI apps. The department data is from a user’s profile in Entra.

When this will happen:

Public Preview: We will begin rolling out late Februarymid-June 2025 (previously early May) and expect to complete by late February 2025.mid-June 2025 (previously early May).

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late AprilJuly 2025 (previously early June) and expect to complete by late April 2025.July 2025 (previously early June).

How this will affect your organization:

The new graph in Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI is called Sensitive interactions by department:

The graph will be added by default in Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI.

What you need to do to prepare:

This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout.
