RM568788 - Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Self-serve sync connectors

Microsoft 365 Roadmap

Summary

Self-serve sync connectors enable users to securely connect their own external data sources, such as Jira and Confluence Cloud, to Microsoft 365 Copilot. Using their own credentials and permissions, users can synchronize content they already have access to, making it discoverable in Copilot Chat and Microsoft Search. Administrators maintain oversight through tenant-level controls, including staged rollout, visibility management, and connector disablement.
