What will happen
- A new Teams Rooms Builder experience will be available in the Pro Management portal:
- Builder provides a visual and guided interface to design meeting rooms (traditional, signature, and flexible spaces).
- Admins can:
- Explore room configurations and layout options.
- Select compatible devices and licenses:
- Generate and download a Bill of Materials (BOM).
- The feature is enabled by default for tenants with Teams Rooms Pro.
- Admins can control visibility and role-based access through existing Pro Management Portal settings, including the option to hide Builder for their tenant.
- No changes will be made to existing rooms or device configurations.
- Purchasing capabilities are not included (no shopping cart or transaction functionality).
