Tags will now be supported in shared channels in Microsoft Teams. Users can now use tags to @ mention groups of people in shared channels.

When this will happen:
Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out late February 2024 (previously mid-February) and expect to complete by early March 2024 (previously late February).
Worldwide, GCC, GCC High & DoD: We will begin rolling out mid-March 2024 (previously early March) and expect to complete by lateearly April 2024 (previously early April)late March).

End users will now be able to use tags in shared channels.
