Microsoft 365 Activity Explorer will now allow users to save filters for later use, enhancing the investigation experience. The rollout timeline has been updated, with Public Preview starting late January 2025 and General Availability Worldwide from late March 2025. No action is needed to prepare for this change.

Users now have the ability to save the filters applied to Microsoft 365 Activity Explorer and use them later.

When this will happen:
Public Preview: We will begin rolling out late January 2025 (previously late December) and expect to complete by late February 2025 (previously mid-January).
General Availability Worldwide: We will begin rolling out late March 2025 (previously early February) and expect to complete by late April 2025 (previously mid-March).
How this will affect your organization:
Customers will now have a better investigation experience in Activity Explorer without having to set the filters every time they go to the page.

There is no action needed to prepare for this change. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.
