The update allows users to save filters in Microsoft 365 Activity Explorer for later use, enhancing the investigation experience. Rollout begins late December 2024 for Public Preview and late February 2024 for General Availability, with no action required for preparation.

Users now have the ability to save the filters applied to Microsoft 365 Activity Explorer and use them later.

When this will happen:
Public Preview: We will begin rolling out late December 2024 (previously late October) and expect to complete by mid-January 2025 (previously early December).
General Availability Worldwide: We will begin rolling out late February 2024 (previously early December) and expect to complete by mid-March 2024 (previously late December).
How this will affect your organization:
Customers will now have a better investigation experience in Activity Explorer without having to set the filters every time they go to the page.
