Microsoft Viva Pulse's new Delegation feature allows users to assign up to 5 delegates to create and send pulses on their behalf. This feature will be on by default and requires no admin action before rollout. Delegates can manage pulses but cannot access 1:1 conversations. Further updates will follow.

Coming soon to Microsoft Viva Pulse: A new Delegation feature. Users in your tenant will be able to assign other users as delegates to create and send pulses on their behalf. A delegator can have a maximum of 5 delegates. A user can only be a delegate of one individual.
This message applies to Viva Pulse in Windows desktop and Viva Pulse in Mac desktop.
To use this feature, users must have a license for Viva or Microsoft 365 Copilot.

What you need to do to prepare:
This rollout will happen automatically by the specified dates with no admin action required before the rollout. Review your current configuration to assess the impact on your organization. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.
Pulse admins can toggle the delegation feature on or from Feature Access Management in Viva.
