Updated May 12, 2026: We have updated the timeline and content. Thank you for your patience.

Introduction

We’re introducing multimodal capture in Copilot Notebooks in the Microsoft OneNote mobile app (iOS). It helps users capture in‑person and on‑the‑go work by combining audio transcription, image capture, and typed notes in a single session. After the session, Microsoft 365 Copilot creates a structured Copilot Page with insights and user‑captured content, which is saved to the user’s selected Copilot Notebook.

This experience is designed for scenarios such as in‑person conversations, brainstorming sessions, whiteboard discussions, and personal note taking.
