We will soon add a new graph to Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI that displays the departments of users interacting with AI apps. The department data is from a user’s profile in Entra.

When this will happen:

Public Preview: We will begin rolling out early Maymid-June 2025 (previously late February)early May) and expect to complete by early Maymid-June 2025 (previously late February)early May).

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early Junelate July 2025 (previously late April)early June) and expect to complete by early Junelate July 2025 (previously late April)early June).

How this will affect your organization:

The new graph in Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI is called Sensitive interactions by department:

The graph will be added by default in Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management for AI.

What you need to do to prepare:

This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout.
